Lauren Young dedicates her performance in 'Stories From The Heart: Never Say Goodbye' to her late grandmother
Actress Lauren Young shared that she dedicated her hard work for the upcoming mini-drama series Stories From The Heart: Never Say Goodbye to her late grandmother.
During the grand media conference of the show earlier today (October 11), Lauren admitted that it was a very difficult time during their lock-in taping because she just lost her beloved lola.
“It was very hard, to be honest. During the time na nag-lock in kami, I lost my lola, so I was grieving during that time. But, I was very lucky to be surrounded by these people because they really supported me,” she said.
“In between takes, kami ni Direk Pam, bigla akong titigil, sasabihin ko, 'Direk, wait lang. Iiyak lang ako sa banyo saglit tapos babalik ako trabaho na ulit tayo.' I really struggled with having to turn it on and off because I was very sensitive. But I just know my Lola was watching over me and guiding me because I'm very proud of what I've done for this teleserye and I dedicate it to her,” she added.
According to the Kapuso star, she and her lola had a very close relationship as the latter raised the former. “She was like a mother to me,” Lauren shared.
After her two-year break in showbiz, Lauren feels great to be back in the industry doing the thing she loves the most, which is acting.
In this breathtaking mini-drama series, Lauren plays the role of Victoria and acts opposite Jak Roberto (Bruce) and Klea Pineda (Joyce).
Joining the star-studded cast of Stories From The Heart: Never Say Goodbye are seasoned actress Snooky Serna, Max Eigenmann, Herlene “Sexy Hipon” Budol, Kim Rodriguez, Luke Conde, Shermaine Santiago, and Phytos Ramirez.
Actors Art Acuna and Joshua Zamora are also making special participation in this much-awaited show.
